SES volunteers have the opportunity to use a wide variety of vehicles.
Vehicles used include Road Crash Rescue trucks, two and four wheel drives and a variety of trailers for such tasks as storm and flood response, community education and welfare. The SES also maintains a fleet of boats. In the Snowy Mountains the SES has skidoos for alpine search and rescue.
The vehicles used depend upon the operational activities carried out by the unit.
