Donating to the SES

The SES appreciates the generosity of individuals, organisations and community groups who make donations to their local volunteer SES Units.

Donations should be made directly to local volunteer SES Units so that these donations are used to support the volunteers who in turn support their local communities in times of flood, storm and other emergencies.

All SES Units have 'Charitable Institution' status and are registered as Deductible Gift Recipients.  Follow this link for more information from the Australian Business Register.

SES Units can accept donations in the form of cash or cheque and you should ask for a receipt for any donation that you make to your local SES Unit.

If you are interested in making a donation to your local SES Unit you can:

  • Contact your local SES Unit directly.  Follow this link to the White Pages for a list of phone numbers.
  • Complete our online form and we will provide you with information on how to contact your local SES Unit
  • Conatct our switch board on (02) 4251 6111 and we will assist you in contacting your local SES Unit

The attached map can assist you in locating your nearest SES Unit.

Donatations can also be made to the SES Volunteer Association or the Australian Council of State and Territory Emergency Services.
